In her role as Head of Research Operations, Sheena leads a small team providing professional support for research across the College.  This includes internal research funding, study leave, risk assessment and mitigation, ethics, researcher development, research communications and research software engineering, open research and PGR funding.

Anna is Personal Assistant to the Director and Deputy Director of Research. Anna also provides events and finance administration support to colleges thoughout the College and the Research Hub.

Research Communications Manager 

 

The Research Communications Manager works to enhance the research profile of the College and showcase the reach, impact and outputs of research activity to stakeholders internally and externally. They also support academics to build their public profile and develop brand awareness in relation to our key research strengths.

Mike develops software (such as websites and mobile apps) for research projects in the College and provides personalised coaching sessions for researchers to help them develop their own software. You can meet with Mike to discuss the feasibility of technical ideas for your research project and he can contribute to the technical aspects of your grant funding application.



The Research Grant Support Team work with academic colleagues to develop and implement funding appications.

With twenty years' experience engaging with the UK funding landscape - including roles within the AHRB, Wellcome Trust and University of Warwick - Liese provides high-level, strategic support to academics within the College. She manages a team of Research Facilitators and Research Support Administrators who offer tailored support to particular Schools.

Rommany is the EU/International Funding Officer for CAL, supporting academics within the College on funding via the European Commission as well as broadly across the globe. Her team provides pre-award and post-award support on these applications, and Rommany provides advice and support on bid development.

Kirpal is the Research Support Administrator for the Schools of History & Cultures and of Philosophy, Theology & Religion. Amy manages the RDO team and is responsible for supporting impact development across the College, from blue-sky thinking to impact delivery. Amy’s role includes supporting the development of UKRI Pathways to Impact documents, and helping academics to build the partnerships and collaborations that underpin impact.
