What is curricular enterprise?
Curricular enterprise is an innovative approach to teaching and learning. You will be given the opportunity to study a module which provides you with the opportunity to work in a self-directed manner, whilst engaging with external organisations to develop a range of sought after skills, mind-sets and behaviours to enhance your future employability.
Why are we doing it?
An enterprising curriculum provides students with the opportunity to solve problems using creativity and innovation whilst applying your subject knowledge to real life business situations. We believe that drawing upon your research and disciplinary depth, curricular enterprise will help improve confidence, whilst helping you become Enterprising, creative and transformative thinkers.
How are we doing it?
Enterprise Educators work in partnership with academics across all 5 Colleges and external organisations to develop a range of contextualised modules. The concepts of ‘Enterprise’ and ‘Entrepreneurship’ will be embedded across all subject disciplines, developed in partnership between programme teams and the Careers Network, drawing on our business engagement and alumni networks.
