Before you start, please note that only students in their first year of undergraduate study (including Erasmus students) enrolled at the Birmingham campus can take part in the Birmingham Project. Unfortunately, the Project is not available to any students on a foundation year.
The purpose of this is to seek consent for the taking of photographs, video recording, voice recording and subsequent publication via the Internet and similar communication channels (including VLEs like Canvas). The University of Birmingham in turn offers a commitment to only allow recordings to be used appropriately and sensitively.
Please read the following information carefully before giving consent:
1. I, the undersigned, agree to being recorded in video, audio or photographic format by The University of Birmingham.
2. I understand that any copyright or other intellectual property which arises in the recording belongs to The University of Birmingham and that the recording may be made available publicly by any format or media.
3. I agree to license/assign all performance rights and moral rights in the recording to The University of Birmingham.
4. I, the undersigned, consent to my personal data (above) being processed for the purposes of this recording and subsequent publishing. My personal data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the data protection law.
If you have any support requirements due to a disability, specific learning difficulty, long term or mental health condition, please let us know by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can then discuss with you what adjustments we might need to make to ensure you can participate fully in the project.
