How to take part in The Birmingham Project

All University of Birmingham first year undergraduate students are eligible to enrol on The Birmingham Project (Birmingham campus students only). 

Eligibility to take part

Any first year undergraduate student, from any course, can participate in The Birmingham Project (including Erasmus students). N.B. Only Birmingham campus students can participate.

Time commitment

It is mandatory for all project participants to attend all Birmingham Project events. Please contact The Birmingham Project Team as soon as possible if you are aware of any commitments or reasons which may prevent you from being able to attend so we can discuss this with you.

Launch Event - (Date to be confirmed)

Join us at this 2 hour event (date to be confirmed). You will be welcomed by our Academic Director and you'll hear from each of our Employer partners as they introduce our project 'Themes' for this year.

Project Fortnight (Monday 13 - Friday 24 June 2022)

The project will run from Monday 13 - Friday 24 June. All project participants must be available every weekday, from 9:00-17:00, during this two-week period in order to take part in The Birmingham Project. 

Enrolment process

It will only take a couple of minutes to secure your place on the project by completing our short enrolment form. 

The dates for the enrolment period will be confirmed soon.

N.B. There are a limited number of spaces on the project and places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the maximum number of participants has been reached, students may be asked to join a waiting list.
