What inspired you to get involved in the Impact Challenge?
My friend took part in it the previous year and recommended that it will be good for my CV.
What did you do on the Impact Challenge?
I worked in a group to assess the effectiveness of the services at the Chinese Community Centre. For this we needed to consider service users' needs (literacy levels and age) before designing a tool they could use easily. We designed a questionnaire.
What did you enjoy most about the Impact Challenge?
I really enjoyed having the opportunity to meet new people and work with a small local business. It was incredibly rewarding to see the impact we made.
How have you developed your skills through taking part in the Impact Challenge?
I have greatly improved my team working skills and my ability to communicate my ideas in a clear manner. I have learned to use my initiative when solving problems and it has given me the confidence to present to large audiences.
