Why you should attend

Interested in enhancing your employability and developing your skills? Sponsored and presented by some of the biggest names in conjunction with Careers Network the graduate recruitment market, this series of interactive workshops presents you with a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Participate in interactive, skills-based workshops
  • Learn more about and develop the competencies recruiters are seeking
  • Talk to representatives from a range of employment sectors about what their job involves

With sessions such as assessment centres, commercial awareness, and interactive business games, the Birmingham Skills Series has something for everyone! The events are open to all second, penultimate, and final-year students from all degree disciplines. All sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons, commencing at 13:30, and will run for up to two hours.

How to book

Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Bookings are to be made in person at the main Careers Network reception, on the first floor of University Centre. If you attend two or more sessions, you will receive a certificate of participation, endorsed by Careers Network and by employer sponsors.
