Access schemes

The SCONUL access scheme
SCOUNL access to other HE libraries has returned. See SCONUL's website for more information on the Universities currently participating in the scheme. This scheme enables staff and students at the majority of UK Higher Education Institutions to use the libraries of other HEIs either for borrowing of reference purposes.  It is particularly useful for part-time, distance learning and placement students. The scheme also includes vacation reference access.

The British Library
The British Library will issue a pass to allow you to visit the reading rooms in the St Pancras Library in London, or at Boston Spa in Yorkshire.
