Women in The National Archives

'Women in The National Archives' is a finding aid to Women's Studies Resources in The National Archives, Kew, combined with original documents on the Suffrage Question in Britain, the Empire and Colonial Territories.

The finding aid is a result of a five project by staff at Kew and enables researchers to quickly locate details of any document relating to women in The National Archives.  

This extensive resource contains over 5,000 original documents, including material on individual suffragettes, papers of the Equal Franchise Committee and the status of women in the colonies.
