Subject advisors

Subject Advisors are available to provide help, advice, training, support and documentation to students and staff undertaking research, project work, essays and/or dissertations. Support is provided for all subjects in the form of one-to-one appointments or virtual online help via Skype. To arrange an appointment at a mutually convenient time, simply contact your Subject Advisor - you can find them using the drop-down above.

Skype appointments

To book an appointment on Skype, simply contact your Subject Advisor in advance to check availability. Then log on to Skype with your details and search for the Skype ID of your Subject Advisor. This can be found on the relevant Subject page alongside the details of your Subject Advisor. Add them to your contacts by clicking on the blue button on the top right-hand side of your screen. Your Subject Advisor will accept your request before the appointment takes place. On the agreed day and time of your appointment just log back on to Skype and click on the contact for your Subject Advisor to connect to them.
