PASS Coordinators

Since 2013-14, we have introduced final year students to work on the scheme as PASS Coordinators. The paid roles are for two hours a week during term time. The Coordinators primarily support the PASS Leaders, assisting with the operational running and quality assurance aspects of the scheme. The roles have been a tremendous success and a real asset to the scheme.

Ellie Wood - PASS Coordinator for Life and Environmental Sciences Working as a PASS Coordinator has been brilliant. The workload was perfect to fit around my 3rd year studies and the PASS team were incredibly friendly and supportive. As well as enhancing key transferable skills like leadership and teamwork, the PASS Coordinator role allowed me to develop new skills such as event management and public speaking. I was also exposed to areas of the university which I had not yet experienced, and had my eyes opened to the amount of work which is carried out within Academic Services to support both students and academics. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be involved in such a valuable scheme, and as a result of my enjoyment of the role I am pursuing a career in Higher Education having just been recruited on to the University's Graduate Training Scheme.
