How will the study sessions work?

They will be split into two sessions:

  • Morning (09:00-12:00)
  • Afternoon (14:00-17:00) Teaching & Learning (14:00 - 16:00)  Doug Ellis

Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before the beginning of your study session and leave the campus after your allotted slot so we can ensure the safety of others arriving on campus. While the campus is still in restricted operations, and to keep everyone safe and secure, you should only go to the building you have booked to use. Please don’t wander the campus or access any other building

What health guidelines do I need to follow?

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 then please don’t enter the campus. All students should continue to follow NHS guidance on social distancing, hand-washing and NHS Test and Trace. There will be marking on the floor on campus to assist you with social distancing and hand sanitisers available to use in buildings.

The wearing of a face masks is not compulsory where you are maintaining social distancing between study spaces, however you may wear one if you choose to do so and this is good advice in an enclosed space.

How do I access the building?

Have your booking confirmation and ID card visible for security staff to check at the gates. All entrance gates to the University are now open. Once you enter the building you will also be asked to present your digital booking and student ID to members of the University staff.

The Doug Ellis  hu is inside the main doors of the Medical School. on Vincent Drive opposite the railway station.
