Induction Sessions for Teaching Staff

The AV system in the 500-seater theatre (LG18) features greatly enhanced functionality, including four Microsoft Surface Hubs to replace whiteboards, especially useful for STEM teaching. Opening Hours

08:00 - 22:00 Monday - Friday, closed on bank holidays and University closed days.
After 18:00 acess is made only by using a University staff or student card; the doors are closed to incomers at 21:45.


The building has three entrances - all are open during the day. After 18:00 only the door next to the water rill and closest to the Main Library will be open.

Booking Rooms

Rooms are booked through the Timetabling team. Between 7pm and 10pm rooms are available to student societies and  are booked through the Guild of Students. Details of all rooms are on the LRAT rooms guide (An ADF login shows more detail).

Atrium Café

This is situated on floor UG near the north entrance.

Bicycle Parking

Covered cycle stands are on the north side of the building.
