What is Mindfulness and Self Compassion?

This four week introductory course will provide a gentle and experiential route into exploring how mindfulness can enhance your life and restore a sense of ease in stressful situations.  

It is suitable for anyone who wishes to explore ways of handling anxiety, depression, or other difficult emotions or physical sensations.

What can I expect?

We shall explore the concept of mindfulness using a variety of approaches:

  • Meditation
  • Physical movement
  • Eating
  • Walking

You will be expected to commit to practising mindfulness in between group sessions for about 20 minutes per day in order to really find out if it is something you wish to explore further once the group comes to an end.
