What is Handling Difficult Emotions?
Sometimes it can feel that we are struggling alone with difficult emotions or thoughts. In fact, many feelings such as anxiety, low mood, sadness, fear, worry are extremely common. This presentation will give you a better understanding of why we feel the way we do, and some thoughts about how you might handle those feelings better.
What can I expect?
These are hour-long, one-off presentations, so you will only need to attend one session. You will be provided with a hand out, with space for making notes. There will be a time for questions and answers at the end of the presentation, so you may wish to prepare some questions in advance.
How do I book a place?
You do not need to book a place – just turn up on the day at the given location.
When is the group being run?
Please note that there will be no Handling Difficult Emotions presentations during the summer vacation. We would encourage you to check back at the beginning of the 2017/18 academic year for further information about upcoming presentations.
