The University Graduate School supports Birmingham’s postgraduate researcher (PGR) community. We foster an interdisciplinary community and act as a gateway to support and advice. We work closely with the other University support services to ensure our postgraduate researchers have access to a high quality postgraduate research experience.
What is a postgraduate researcher?
The University Graduate School recognise postgraduate researchers as those undertaking the following research degrees:
- PhD with integrated study
- Higher doctorates (DD, DEng, DLitt, DMus, DSc, LLD, DSocSc)
- Professional doctorates (ClinPsyD, EdD, ThD, EdPsychD, SocSciD, Foren.Psy.D, HScD, HScD(Clin), DBA, DPT, App.Ed and Child Psy.D)
