Gain insight into online tests and hints and tips on how to tackle them with confidence

Many large employers use online tests as a sifting method following the application form stage. Tests can be daunting, however, preparation and practice can really help. If you are applying for jobs after your Postgraduate Research degree with larger companies in industry, business or other sectors beyond academia and need to complete online tests as part of the process, this session can help you to prepare for these tests. In this 50 minute session you will gain an understanding of the different tests used by employers and tips on ways to boost your confidence and improve performance.

By the end of the session you will:

  • Understand why employers use psychometric testing
  • Be familiar with the types of tests and questions you may face
  • Be aware of resources available to help you prepare for and practise tests online
