Insider Secrets for Postgraduate Researchers

If you are a new postgraduate researcher (MRes, PhD etc.) at the University of Birmingham, then this is a session not to be missed. The session aims to bring new and current postgraduate researchers together to share useful tips about postgraduate life at the University of Birmingham. Whether it is planning the first year of your research degree, learning about useful postgraduate activities on campus or managing your time, we will cover a wide variety of topics.   

The event will include:

• Practical tips on pursuing a research degree (e.g. managing your research, working with your supervisor, managing your wellbeing)
• Opportunity to ask questions about the postgraduate research experience to current postgraduate researchers and members of staff
• Refreshments will be provided
