Images of Research 2016- Winners announced

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Images of Research 2016 exhibition. This year we received 49 amazing images from our postgraduate researchers across a variety of departments from all five Colleges and the submissions highlighted the exciting and incredible research projects conducted by our PGRs at the University of Birmingham. The Images of Research exhibition formed part of the Arts and Science festival and was held between 14 -18 March, 2016 at the University of Birmingham.  During the competition we received 1,121 votes from members of staff, students and the public and the winners were announced at the Images of Research celebration at the Westmere PGR Hub. Overall winner: Chris Morgan, Biosciences (Feeding the world with plant science); People’s Choice:  Deyala Altarawneh, Geography Earth and Environmental Sciences (Urban Pauses); Runner up: Mai Khanh TRAN, Business School (The composer of ideas).
