Information for staff taking part in the University's Degree Congregations, including joining the procession at the beginning of Congregations.
When are Degree Congregations
The next round of Degree Congregations will be held between Tuesday 11 December and Friday 14 December 2018.
How do I confirm my attendance?
All members of staff attending a Degree Congregation are expected to form part of the procession that enters the Great Hall at the beginning of each Degree Congregation. To confirm that you wish to process please complete our online application form by Friday 23 November 2018 at the latest.
All members of the procession are required to wear their appropriate academic dress. Funding, Graduation & Awards will pay for all academic dress ordered on or before Tuesday 27 November 2018.
If staff need to order academic dress they'll find a gown hire order form attached to their confirmation email. Please download, print, complete and return the order form directly to Ede and Ravenscroft so that it reaches them on or before Tuesday 27 November 2018.
Members of staff placing orders after Tuesday 27 November 2018 will need to supply their own payment details with their order. Funding, Graduation & Awards will not pay for any late gown hire orders.
What happens next?
Once you have completed our online application form you will receive an email from Funding, Graduation & Awards confirming your attendance. The email will also contain details of when and where to assemble before the Degree Congregation.
