Try cycling to work during National Bike Week! From Monday 6 June to Saturday 11 June, we have a host of activities to support cyclists making their first ride to work and reward seasoned commuters to campus.

Cycling Skills Classes
If you would like to improve your skills and confidence and as rider, then join one of our classes. There are three levels, basic, everyday and advanced.
Group Commutes
Join a group commute to test out your route to work with a cycling instructor and ride leader. Rides will run 8am-9am from a different part of the city Mon-Fri, and meeting points will be set based on the particpants' start locations.

Welcome and Bike Valeting
Every day during National Bike Week Gear Up will welcome cyclists with good cheer and a FREE valeting service. Their red tent will be stationed at a different gate on campus from 8-9.30am each day of the week.

Bike Maintenance Classes
The following week, Gear Up will be running bike maintenance classes at three levels: introduction to bike maintenance, tyres and gears and brakes and steering.
