Learning to ride with confidence

There are a number of cycle trainers/cycle training organisations available in the Birmingham area who can help you get cycling whether you have never ridden a cycle before or whether you are returning to the saddle.  Many offer training to the new National Standards for Cycle Training.   Generally you can use your own cycle or borrow or rent a cycle for your training session.  Sessions generally last one hour or one and a half hours and cost between £15 and £20 per session.  There are often discounts for booking a series of lessons.

The CTC (the UK’s national cyclists’ organisation) publishes details of cycle trainers on their web site.  For more information view the list of West Midlands cycle trainers.
