Support for transgender staff and managers

This page contains links to transgender-specific information and guidance within the University and the surrounding area. It is intended to support transgender staff and their managers, as well as staff with transgender children.

You can read about the rights of transgender staff under the Equality Act 2010 at the EHRC website.

None of the external groups listed are affiliated with the Rainbow Network or the University of Birmingham.

If you know of any other relevant services or groups, please let us know at lgbtq@contacts.bham.ac.uk and we will add them to the list!
