Marketing and Communications

The Marketing and Communications team (MarComms) is responsible for enhancing the reputation of the University with local, national and international audiences. Made up of four teams; Ideas Lab, Marketing, Media Relations, and Stakeholder Relations, we are responsible for communicating with a numbers of stakeholder groups including students, staff, local community, prospective students, businesses, research partners, the media, and policy makers.

Ideas Lab
Working with external media companies to stimulate new programmes based on academic research.

Marketing
Leading on reputational campaigns, social and digital media, website content, and student communications.

Communications Team
Promoting the University to media outlets around the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Also manages communications and related activity for internal communications.

Stakeholder Relations
Managing communications and related activity in the fields of public affairs,  and community relations.
