Security at the University of Birmingham

University of Birmingham Security Services operate 24 hours a day all year around and we are always available to offer assistance and advice to Students, Staff and members of the public.

The role of Security Services is to provide a secure campus environment by protecting people, property and safeguarding the University's reputation as a safe place to live, work and study.

We provide many vital services to maintain a safe and secure environment for the University community.

We have 55 operational Security Officers who are SIA Licensed and trained to a very high standard.
