What is the benefit?

The University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness club provides staff with exclusive rates on membership*, classes, climbing, sport sessions, swimming lessons, courts and pitches. The Club is situated on campus to easily enable you to work out before work, take an active lunch break or break a sweat at the end of the day.

Memberships* can be paid for annually or via payroll, all other services are provided on a flexible Pay & Go system making it easy to try something new.

Are there any opportunities to try a sport before I join?

Try a Sport

The University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness club run 10 week courses during University term time only, but they are available to all adult members and non-members, so whether you’re a student, staff or community member. Equipment will be provided, all you need to bring is the motivation to discover, develop and achieve. For more information

Social Sport

The University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness club's Social Sport sessions are open to all, including community non-members. They are pay as you go with all equipment provided. If you are looking to improve on your skills, the Coach & Play sessions will provide some coaching as well as an opportunity to put this into practice in some friendly games. For more information

Pay & Go classes

The University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness club's full class timetable has over 180 classes a week, open to both members & non-members with Pay & Go. For more information
