Incrementation principles

All staff are paid a salary for doing their job well.

All staff up to and including grade 9 normally receive an increment each year (based partly on an assessment of contribution and partly on service in the band/grade) until the contribution threshold (thick black line) on each band/grade is reached.

The award of "contribution" increments (ie increments above this threshold) is dependent:
