New Remote Computer Access service

Access University computer clusters remotely from your own device

IT Services is delighted to announce that, from Wednesday 7 October, students and teaching staff are able to remotely log in to computers across campus, using our new Remote Computer Access service. You can securely access all the same hardware and software that you would do on campus, on your own device. 

  • View the availability of computers on campus. 

  • Search for the software you need to use and connect to a computer that has it installed. 

  • Access the licensed software you need for your course, on your own device – without having to pay for your own personal license.  

  • Access our computers any time, anywhere.  

  • Keep our data secure – log in to the service using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

This service is now available for students on both the Edgbaston and Dubai campuses.
