Remote Computer Labs: Access University software, anywhere
Remote Computer Labs is the new name for the Remote Computer Access service for students - also referred to sometimes as Remote Clusters.
We released this service in October 2020; it allows you to securely access University software and computers on your own device, anywhere.
If you can't get onto campus due to coronavirus restrictions, but need to access University software to do your course work, this service is for you.
- View the availability of over 1,500 computers across campus on an easy-to-navigate map.
- Use the search function to find a computer with the specific software you need.
- See the full list of available software here – we’ve made over 360 software packages available.
Find out how to use Remote Computer Labs in our Knowledge article. Here you'll find detailed instructions explaining how to log in to and use the service, for students and staff.
So, now you can study at home, with all the benefits of the University’s tech you’d normally access on campus. We're making IT accessible for all.
Stay safe and well.
