Forms

You are able to create basic web forms within Contensis.  The results of these forms can be emailed to a specific email address as well as exported to a csv file.

Web co-ordinators have the permissions to set up forms but if you have any questions or would like to be set up with permissions please contact the IT Service Desk.

Forms functionality

The forms are created using the drag and drop functionality and the following options are available.

  • Text box
  • Multiline textbox
  • Number
  • Checkboxes
  • Radio buttons
  • Drop down
  • Section Header
  • Page break
  • Name
  • Postal Address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Website
  • Date picker
  • Time 
  • Upload

Each of these have additional settings that you can use such as making them a required field etc.

Current forms issues

  • Character length validation currently does not work (i.e. this box must not exceed 200 words).
  • Page rules are available (i.e. if the answer to 2 is yes, go to page 3) however these should be kept to a minimum to save the form from becoming too complicated.
