NetCDF-C++ 4.2

The netCDF library provides an application- and machine-independent interface to self-describing, array-oriented data. It supports an abstract view of such data as a collection of named variables and their attributes, and provides high-level access to data that is faithful to the abstraction.

Accessing the software

To load the module:

$ module load apps/netcdf-c++/4.2

An example command to include in your job script:

g++ -o <output> <C++_file> -L${NETCDF_C__ROOT}/lib -lnetcdf_c++

Example: NetCDF-C++ Job

An example can be found at ${BB_EXAMPLES}/netcdf-c++/sbatch.sh. The example can be copied to a test directory and submitted to the batch system using sbatch.

$ cp -r ${BB_EXAMPLES}/netcdf-c++ ~/netcdf-c++-test
$ cd ~/netcdf-c++-test

Edit the sbatch.sh script according to your needs, then do:

$ sbatch sbatch.sh
