NLSEMagic1D v020

NLSEmagic is a package of C and MATLAB script codes which simulate the nonlinear Schrödinger equation in one, two, and three dimensions. The code includes MEX integrators in C, as well as NVIDIA CUDA-enabled GPU-accelerated MEX files in C. The MATLAB script files call the compiled MEX codes forming an easy-to-use highly efficient program. The codes utilize a fourth-order (in time) Runge-Kutta scheme combined with the choice of standard second-order (in space) finite differencing, or a compact two-step fourth-order (in space) finite differencing.

Accessing the software

To load the module:

$ module load apps/nlsemagic1d/v020

An example command to include in your job script:

matlab -nodisplay -r NLSEmagic1D

Accessing Previous Versions

Wherever possible, previous versions of this application will be retained for continuity, especially for research projects that require a consistent version of the software throughout the project. Such versions, however, may be unsupported by IT Services or the applications vendor, and may be withdrawn at short or no notice if they can no longer run on the cluster - for example, essential operating system upgrades may be incompatible with old versions.

At present there are no previous versions of this application on the BlueBEAR service.
