Childrens' eating habits – call for questionnaire volunteers
Not all children have challenges with mealtimes, but those who do can affect peaceful mealtimes for the entire family. As a result although a family meal is enjoyable for most people it may be very challenging for a child fussy about food or who presents with extreme food selectivity.
Doctoral Researcher Maria Pomoni is carrying out some research looking at eating problems in typically developing children and in children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) aged between 4-11 years. She is running an electronic survey, inviting parents of children with and without autism spectrum disorders aged 4-11 to complete an electronic questionnaire that will last no more than 30 minutes. Responses from parents of selective eaters in addition to happy eaters are equally needed.
