This event will offer an opportunity to discuss open research questions and to explore current issues around the delivery of effective & impactful research and is aimed at the University’s academic staff, and staff supporting research. 

We have a wide range of sessions to choose from exploring cross disciplinary issues, debating the future of research and challenging current positions. We are also very pleased to announce that Professor Andrew Thompson will now be making the keynote address at the conference. As well as being Chief Executive of the Arts and Humanities Research Council Professor Thompson is Chair of the RCUK Research, Innovation & Strategy Advisory Board and is the RCUK Chief Executive Champion for Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).
