College Research and Knowledge Transfer Committee

The purpose of the Committee is:

  • To develop, maintain and promote active Research and Knowledge Transfer projects within the College.
  • To foster within the College a strong research ethos
  • To address the main strategic challenges for research and knowledge transfer in the College as follows:
  • Building excellence in research capacity and capability
  • Improving and profiling research and knowledge transfer performance
  • Developing a doctoral strategy
  • Developing the knowledge transfer agenda 
  • Sustaining the inter-disciplinary momentum, and 
  • Building a collective leadership for research and knowledge transfer 

Membership of the Committee Comprises:

  • College Director of Research and Knowledge Transfer (in the chair)
  • Director of Research and Knowledge Transfer from each School
  • College Deputy Director of Knowledge Transfer
  • Head of College Research Support Office
  • College Postgraduate Research Lead
  • College Business Engagement Partner
  • College Director of Internationalisation
  • Chair of Early Career and Research Staff Committee
  • College Planning Partner
  • College Research Support Partner
