Have you ever felt frustrated at trying to keep a disparate team on track, or had a nagging concern that your meetings don’t cover everything you’d like them to? Maybe you’ve wondered about headings on research budgets? What do they mean? What should you be looking out for? How much is left in your budget?

It’s not always easy to find the answers to these questions, and it’s not always easy to find the right time and place to ask. If you’ve ever wanted to ask a question about running a research project, or you’re interested in learning more in a relaxed environment, come along to find out Everything That You Wanted To Know About Being A PI… But Were Afraid To Ask!

This afternoon of discussion, sharing experiences and questions with colleagues from around the College, will start with a buffet lunch at 12:00, before a series of themed sessions which will cover various aspects of the PI experience, featuring the shared experience of academic staff who have been PIs along with input from expert professional services colleagues.

A buffet is provided.
