Your Technology Enhanced Learning team is growing!

We would like to welcome the following members of staff to our new look team who can all be found in G26 JG Smith Building.

Rummi Bassi (TEL Distance Learning Developer, IDD and Education)

Rummi joined our team in January and has extensive experience within distance learning having worked for the NHS Leadership Academy in the support and development of their online programmes.

Nathan Johnson (Learning Technologist)

We welcome Nathan as a Learning Technologist to the CoSS team. Nathan joins us from the web team having gained experience and knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript and the Adobe Creative Suite.  He is highly skilled in video production, animation and web coding, meaning he will be the perfect fit for our developing team when creating interactive learning materials.

Paul Dyson (Instructional Designer) – Start date 23rd October

Paul has worked as a Lecturer, Learning Technology Development Manager, VLE Business Manager and Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Advisor meaning he will be able to Provide expert evidence-based advice on the design and development of high quality online and blended learning activities and materials.  Paul will provide direct advice and hands-on support for academic staff in extending their use of TEL across teaching, learning and assessment.  His role involves providing specialist eLearning advice and guidance, as well as supporting staff with the development, design and production of eLearning resources, delivering staff development sessions on a range of technology related topics that address the local needs of the College.

Richard Morgan (TEL Developer) – Start date 4th December

Richard will join the team in December once he finishes in his role in the central TEL Hub bringing with him a technical understanding of how we can further utilise Canvas.  Having completed a degree in Multi-media technology, Richard will add value to the development of digital learning resources across our portfolio of programmes.
