Events and Workshops
The Careers in Business team host a number of career related workshops and employer events throughout the academic year, with the majority of these event being held virtually through Zoom or Teams. You can find a full list of events and workshops on our Events and Workshops intranet page.
We understand that our distance and overseas students may not alway be able to attend our live sessions, so we will record these sessions for you. All recordings can be watched on our Events and Workshops Catch Up page, allowing you to catch-up on anything you may have missed.
Applying for jobs - CV's and Covering Letters
Download our CV guide which contains sample CVs including a one page CV: Careers in Business CV Guide. A two page CV is standard for the UK, however; if you are aiming for a job in an Investment Bank or consulting firm, then a one page CV is frequently preferred.
