Our Future Leaders Certificate is an extra-curricular programme specifically designed to help you make the most of your time here by developing relevant knowledge and putting into practice the vital skills you need to succeed in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the impact this is having on the world of work.
If you are selected, you will be put through a rigorous programme between December and June which combines online training, interactive workshops and both individual and team assessments, all culminating in an exciting and intensive summer programme where you will work on a real, live project set by a multinational company.
We are delighted to confirm that our partner companies this year include:
- Beiersdorf (the international skincare company which owns Nivea)
- Britvic (the soft drinks company which owns iconic brands such as Tango and Robinsons)
- Turner & Townsend (a global consultancy business serving clients in the real estate, infrastructure and natural resources sectors)
In June 2019, 20 FLC students also had the opportunity to go on a 5 day entrepreneurial trek to the USA. We are hoping to repeat this trip, so you might be lucky enough to go abroad as well!
The FLC requires focus, drive and commitment, but the benefits of taking part are huge. Don’t just take our word for it – watch this video where you will get to hear from last year’s participants, as well as the Dean of the Business School, Professor Catherine Cassell, and Dr Nicki Newman, Director of Taught Postgraduate Programmes:
If you are interested in applying, please accept your invitation to the Application Stage Canvas course.
