During the Autumn term, you will have the opportunity to attend a vast range of careers lectures and fairs, workshops, employer presentations and other events. These are designed to help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to decide on a suitable career path, plan your job hunt strategy and make high quality applications that stand out from the crowd.
In order to complete the Silver Award, you need to attend a minimum of 8 sessions. These MUST include your four timetabled Career Development Programme (CDP) lectures, but the remaining four elective sessions are up to you. You will also need to submit a short reflection of your learning after each session, along with an up-to-date CV and LinkedIn profile.
If you are a campus-based Business School postgraduate on a taught programme, you will be automatically enrolled onto the Silver Award at the start of the Autumn term. Make sure you accept your invitation to the Canvas course where you will find all the information you need about the events you can attend and what you need to do to complete the Silver Award.
