Every site and mobile app must be tested to ensure that it conforms to the new legislation. To do this we must:
- Evaluate the accessibility of our websites and apps against the WCAG 2.1 AA standard
- All sites and apps should be “perceivable, operable, understandable and robust” for all users
- Fix any issues
What should be tested:
- Documents hosted on websites
- Videos & multimedia content
- Intranets and extranets VLEs
- Libraries/Catalogue systems
- Student portals
- Staff systems
- Apps
- Purchased 3rd party content and tools
