For several years, Dr Jeremy Pritchard, Head of Education, School of Biosciences, has used lecture recordings, student-authored assessments, journal clubs and outside speakers as part of a flipped teaching approach to a final year Biological Sciences module.  Whilst engagement during the module remains an issue, anecdotal evidence suggests that students appreciate the benefits of this approach subsequently. This seminar will discuss outcomes from 2015-2016 academic year, highlighting lessons learned and recommendations for the future.
