Dates

Kathleen Armour

Pro Vice Chancellor for Education

Current external developments raise many questions about the definition of teaching excellence, and about the distinctive nature of a ‘research-led’ education. In this session, Prof Kathy Armour will draw on the outcomes of a U21 international seminar to identify the key features of a high quality, research-led education in the context of contemporary research-intensive universities. She will also share some early insights into a draft U21 Position Statement on this topic.

This is part of the education@MDS series of events. Although aimed at staff from MDS, it is also open to interested staff from around the University.  All seminars are held in the IBR Seminar room, Medical School. To register please contact Kate Stewart
