UniversityStation1-Cropped-350x250

The lifts at University station are being refurbished and will be out of use for three weeks from Monday 29 September until Monday 20 October.

Information posters will be on display at the station and the following advice is being issued to passengers:

If you have mobility difficulties, or use a wheelchair, please be aware there will be no step free access at the station during this time.

Mobility impaired passengers are advised to leave the train at Birmingham New Street where road transport to University station will be arranged for you.

Road transport will also be arranged if you are travelling from University station.  This will take you to either Birmingham New Street or Selly Oak station, depending on your direction of travel.

If the booking office is closed, please call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50 who will arrange road transport for you.

We have arranged for an extra member of staff to provide support at University station for passengers travelling with pushchairs, heavy luggage or who need assistance to use the stairs.  This support will be in place from 0800 – 1900 Monday to Saturday.
