University of Birmingham Safety Advice

Following police reports of a number of incidents in the Selly Oak area, the University and Guild of Students reminds students to take care when out late at night, particularly if they are alone. The University’s security team is on duty 24-hours a day, backed up by a dedicated campus police officer, regular campus patrols, and CCTV.
