Safety Notice

There have been two reports this week of a man approaching women late at night as they walk home in Selly Oak before trying to touch and kiss them. The man is described as Asian, 30 to 35 years old and 5‘ 6“ to 5’ 7” tall.

The University of Birmingham and the Guild of Students are working very closely with West Midlands Police to keep both students and public safe. Police and the University security staff are joining forces to ensure there is an increased and visible presence in the area.
