Get your hands on a free D-Lock to keep your bike secure

The University has launched a new scheme for students to register their bike for free with BikeRegister, the national cycle database approved by Police. Your details will be added to the database, and your bike visibly marked to help protect it from theft.

When you register your bike, you can also pick up a free gold standard D-Lock to further protect your bike from theft. 

This week's Lock It, Mark It events are scheduled for:

Monday 22 October (9:30-11:00) - Outside the Main Library

Tuesday 23 October (14:30-16:00) - Outside Shackleton at the Vale

Wednesday 24 October (12:00:14:00) - Bournbrook Pavilion, by the Starbucks at Grange Road Gate

Thursday 25 October (14:30-16:00) – By Subway at the Guild of Students

UBSafe events will be added to their Facebook page including Lock It, Mark It drop-ins, Personal Safety Workshops, and Police & Partnership drop-ins.
