Hear from Nobel Prize winners

The University of Birmingham is working with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore to bring 40 brilliant minds, including three Nobel Prize winners, to Birmingham as part of a major global multi-disciplinary research initiative.

The Intercontinental Academia (ICA) event will run from 18-27 March at the University’s Edgbaston campus with the theme Laws: Rigidity and Dynamics. The series of lectures are free of charge and open to all students as well as staff and members of the public.

Highlighted lectures include those from Nobel Laureates:

  • Jean-Marie Lehn, Université de Strasbourg, France - Perspectives in Chemistry
  • Ada Yonath, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel - Structure and Actions
  • David Gross, University of California, USA - Particle Physics
