Flooding Update

A number of locations across campus have been affected by heavy rain and extensive flooding yesterday evening.

Closures

We have been working overnight to assess the damage and clean up, however the following places will remain closed:

• Nuffield – G13 Lecture Room
• Gillett Centre in Selly Oak
• LRAT – Aston Webb
• Mechanical Engineering vehicle test bay area
• Nicholson Building
• Haworth LT203
• Watson Building - ground floor (CLAD) and 3rd floor

Munrow Sports Centre

The Munrow Sports Centre will be reopen at 11am today although the Gym and Free Weights room remain closed due to flood damage. 

The Bournbrook pitches will be closed until further notice but bookings can be transferred to the Metchley 3G synthetic pitch.
