Move to the new Library

The University's magnificent new Library is nearly ready and will open fully later in the summer.

There will be some changes to services and opening hours as books, other resources and staff move from their old to new locations - but Library Services staff are working very hard to minimise disruption.

The following libraries have now closed permanently:

• Education Library
• Harding Law Library
• Barber Music Library (closes Fri 17 June, 5pm)
• Main Library floors 1 to 5 and Zone UGD

Other areas of the (old) Main Library will close as follows:

• LGD closed permanently from 11 July
• Access to LGC limited from 11 July

The ground floor of the Main Library will stay open throughout the move.
