At the University of Birmingham, we have a thriving postgraduate community and a wide range of taught and research courses for you to continue your journey with us.

Come along to one of our informal event on campus to learn more. At our regular Café Masters and Café PhD events, you can join us for drinks and a chat about postgraduate study.

At the events you will hear from current postgraduate students, who will share their experiences and give advice on the application process, funding, the step up from undergraduate study and their plans for the future.

Our dedicated postgraduate team can help you with advice on applying, what options would best suit your experience, and what funding might be available to you.

One of your options for funding may be the annual Distinguished Alumni Scholarship scheme. Each year the scheme provides £2,000 to 50 of to our recent graduates and alumni, who are returning to postgraduate Masters study.
