Get your work noticed globally at The Undergraduate Awards

If you’re looking to gain valuable exposure and recognition on an international stage for your ideas and work then there’s still time to make a submission to The Undergraduate Awards(UA). You will need to move quickly though, as the deadline for applications is Monday 18 June.

The annual awards celebrate the world’s brightest and most innovative undergraduate students by recognising their best coursework and projects.

Winners and Highly Commended entrants receive an invitation to the three-day UA Global Summit in Dublin and also become members of the UA alumni network. For Global Winners, there is also the opportunity to be published in The Undergraduate Journal –  an annual publication which is sent to libraries at institutions across the globe.

You can apply for the awards if you are a penultimate or final year student. 2017 graduates can also submit work that they have completed as an undergraduate.

In previous years students from the University of Birmingham have been recognised, picking up Global, Regional and Highly Commended awards.

If you'd be interested in applying Daniel Cueva (BSc Economics 2017) has some handy advice on the application process:

'My advice would be not to over think it, just to submit your papers, especially the papers you are proud of. The submission process is really easy. It won’t take more than 10 minutes to submit your paper if you already have an abstract written. If not, then it also won’t take a long time to write an abstract.'
