When do I apply for a DSA?
Apply early as the application process can take up to 14 weeks. You can apply for DSAs as soon as the Student Finance England service for the academic year opens (March/April). The sooner you apply, the greater the chance of having everything you need in place at the start of your course.
You do not have to have made a firm choice of course/university as your funding is transferable.
